The temples all start to look the same after a while which was a bummer given how much one had to walk. Bang Pa In palace was calm and serene, definitely my most favourite. Got some great pics there!
We were picked up promptly at 6.30am from the hotel and were dropped at Sam Yot station before 5pm. The guide, Phoenix, was lovely and friendly. He organised vegetarian lunch for our family and looked after my aging parents so lovingly. Truly thankful! The van was comfy too.
Thrillophillia team contacted me immediately after i booked my tour, emailed me about payment and confirmation in 5 minutes and were prompt on whatsapp too.

It has been a wonderful and pleasant trip to visit the ancient and historical of the once demolished City during the war. The tour guide has provided a vast knowledge of the historical background But should be shorten up the story instead. Overall the tour was well managed in such a short time, the travel takes almost an hour 45 mins to reached the destination. Very far from the pick up point.

Must Know Before You Go for Ayutthaya Day Trip From Bangkok
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
- All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- International travellers, including returning Thais and foreign residents, who are above 18 years of age, planning to travel to Thailand under either the TEST & GO and Sandbox entry schemes must get fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a vaccine approved by Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) or the World Health Organisation (WHO) no less than 14 days before their travel date. Those travelling to the kingdom under the Alternative Quarantine system, their vaccination status will be the key factor determining their quarantine period.
- Travellers 12-17 years of age travelling to Thailand under the TEST & GO entry scheme or the Sandbox programme unaccompanied must get vaccinated with at least one dose of an approved vaccine. Those travelling with parents are exempt from this requirement.
- Travellers 6-11 years of age, travelling with parents, are exempt from this vaccination requirement.
- Travellers under 6 years of age, travelling with parents with a negative RT-PCR test result within 72 hours before travelling, are not required to have a pre-arrival negative RT-PCR test result and can have a saliva test when entering the Kingdom.
- Travellers with the history of COVID-19 infection who have recovered by medical treatments and travellers who have received at least 1 dose of an approved vaccine after post-infection must have a certificate of COVID-19 recovery.
- All travellers, except those under 6 years of age, must have a Medical Certificate with an RT-PCR lab result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected issued no more than 72 hours before travelling.
- Guidelines issued by the respective State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of masks recommended.
- Children aged 0-2 can join this activity free of charge provided they will not occupy separate seats.
- This activity is not recommended for anyone with certain medical conditions such as high blood pressure, epilepsy, etc.
- Participants are advised dress appropriately for this activity (long pants, long-sleeved shirt or scarf to cover shoulders, and closed shoes).
- This tour could be canceled due to extreme weather or unforeseen events. If canceled, you may book a different date or ask for a refund.
- Please indicate your preferred language at the checkout.
- An additional tour guide will be arranged for groups of more than 20 participants.
- Insurance will be provided by the operator for reported accidents during your tour date only. No assistance will be provided for any accidents reported beyond your tour date.
